We require artwork at a minimum of 350dpi for sharp, crisp printed stickers. See the visual difference between 350dpi and 72dpi.

What image resolution and DPI do I need for print?

Comparison of artwork at 350dpi versus 72dpi

We require your artwork to be a minimum of 350dpi for the best printed results.

350dpi

As you can see in the example above, artwork at 350dpi is crisp and clear. This produces high quality printed results.

72dpi

Very low resolution and pixelated - 72dpi (the standard for web images) won't produce good printed results.

Why web images often aren't sharp enough

Images pulled from websites or social media are usually optimised for screens at 72 DPI - roughly a fifth of the detail we need for crisp print. They can look fine at a small size on screen but appear soft or pixelated once printed.

A note on text

For any artwork with text, we recommend it be at least 6pt. Use a vector PDF wherever possible for the sharpest results.

Quick summary

  • 350dpi minimum at your finished sticker size
  • Web/social images are usually too low-resolution for sharp printing
  • If unsure, send us the file and we'll flag it before printing
