How do I size my artwork correctly for stickers?

Setting your artboard up at the right size from the start is the easiest way to make sure your finished stickers look exactly as designed.

Getting started

  • Set your artboard to the exact finished size of your sticker (e.g. 100mm x 100mm)
  • Add 3mm bleed on every side around that finished size
  • Design at full scale where possible - avoid scaling up a small image, which loses sharpness

Custom shapes

For custom die-cut shapes, design around the finished outline first, then extend your background/colour out into the bleed. We'll always create an accurate cut path around your artwork and send a proof for approval before anything is printed.

Quick summary

  • Set your artboard to finished size + 3mm bleed
  • Design at full scale to keep detail sharp
  • We'll send a proof before printing custom shapes either way
